SIMON POTTER

CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR

Simon started at William Birch in 1984 as an apprentice bricklayer. He has progressed through site Management and contracts management to his current role as Construction Director where he is responsible for construction services across the business and region. His practical expertise across a wide range of sectors provides our customers with confidence to deliver in new build, refurbishment and specialist restoration projects.

He is engaging, focused on detail, customer service and above all sound craftsmanship. Equally he has worked on some of our most innovative and sustainable projects such as the multi-award winning Bramall Learning Centre at Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate, the restoration of the National Trusts’ Nostell Priory in Wakefield and the construction of the new Art and Music facility at the prestigious Bootham School in York.

Simon lives in York with his family and he enjoys cycling and socialising with family and friends.
