Ossett Town Hall Officially Opens

The much-anticipated refurbishment of the Grade II listed Ossett Town Hall was officially unveiled at a celebratory event attended by local dignitaries, community leaders, and residents. The newly restored building, which serves as a vibrant hub for the town, marks a new chapter in the heart of Ossett, combining modern amenities with heritage features.

At the core of the £3m refurbishment scheme is the brand-new library, which, despite having only opened its doors four weeks prior to the event, had already made a significant impact on the community. In that short time, the library has welcomed over 4,000 new visitors, issued nearly 3,000 books, and hosted 36 events, ranging from educational workshops to cultural celebrations.

The feedback from the guests and visitors to the library has been fantastic and the team there have lots planned for its future.
