Project Overview

Scope of Works
The reconfiguration also included internal office and welfare facilities to support workshop staff along with a racking and ‘parts’ store. Close coordination with the council’s facilities and transport teams ensured the workshop meets operational requirements and health & safety standards.

Challenges & Our Approach
Coordinating Specialist Equipment Installation
Challenge: Vehicle lifts, pit installations, and workshop equipment required specialist contractors and precise sequencing within the programme. These works had to align with ongoing building adaptations and services installation.
Solution: A phased delivery programme was implemented, allowing core structural and service upgrades to be completed ahead of specialist installations. Close coordination between contractors, equipment suppliers, and Council representatives ensured that installation tolerances, service connections, and safety requirements were met without delaying overall progress.
