Bradford Institute for Health Building Nominated for an Award

The new extension to the Temple Bank medical research facility at Bradford Royal Infirmary has been nominated for an award by Bradford Council.

The building has been short-listed in the Healthcare Buildings category for the West Yorkshire Local Authority Building Control Building Excellence Awards. The winners will be announced in June.

The new wing at Temple Bank was built by William Birch for the Bradford Institute for Health Research and was officially opened by the Government’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies in March this year.

Paul Goyea, Construction Director, said:

“we are delighted that the Temple Bank project in Bradford has been recognised as a potential award winner, we hope that the entry does well and congratulate the whole project team for such a successful new facility”.
